Don't make me think
Steve Krug is bringing his usability workshop Don't Make Me Think: Learn to Think Like a Usability Expert in Eight Hours or Less to London on the 5th September!
If you have not heard of Steve he's the thinking mans Jacob Neilsen and wrote the most excellent book "Don't Make Me Think" which is a must read if you build websites for a living, design interfaces of any sort or try to communicate with customers in any shape or form.
See you there!

I actually went to one of Steve's first seminars in Boston last year. He split the day into two. In the first half, he went through many of the ideas in his (excellent) book, expanded on some of them with new examples and gave some fresh insights. This worked really well and made the trip worthwhile. The second half of the day, however, consisted of deconstructing sites suggested by the audience. A valiant attempt at interactivity, it didn't really come off too well.
Overall, worthwhile, and I would definitely see him again. And Simon's right: this is a must-read book for anyone involved in user interface design.
