David Blain is inane

Whe David Blain hit our small screens I was fascinated and intrigued. Even when the spoiler program came out and showed how he did his tricks I still thought they were good. Now he is trying to emulate Harry Houdini by doing huge stunts and it just doesn't grab my interest.

When he announced his latest stunt, survive for 44 days in a glass box hanging near the Thames, I wasn't that interested. However, the British public have put an edge on the story that makes it fascinating. Unlike in the US where everyone clapped and cheered him on when walking past his standing on the pole stunt, the British public don't really like him and and trying to break him!

This is all brilliant and makes it interesting. If he gets through the 44 days he will have earnt his $5million, yes FIVE MILLION, dollars. That's 113,636.36 dollars a day. Go on everyone - make him earn it!

So far the following has happened:


  • People have been throwing food at the box, including eggs, pies and bananas!

  • One man was driving golf balls at the box!

  • A burger van is parked nearby selling food to the public - and w know how they smell!

  • The crowds have been singing all night to keep him awake!

  • Someone brought an Indian Bangra Drum and beat it all night - eliciting complaints from the residents the other side of the river!

  • Blain went crazy when he thought he was about to get assasinated, little red laser beams started darted all over the box - it was kids with laser light pens!

  • A woman has been prancing round in her underwear!

  • Rugby players have mooned him!

  • A skinny dipper went swimming in the river!

  • Someone flew a radio controlled helicopter aound the box with a cheeseburger suspended below it!

Good for David Blain. His form of magic is meditative endurance magic made popular in "olden days" by Indian swami's and Eastern mystics. His magic is one purely of body, not showy casinos and white tigers. I support him. I wish more fat Americans would lock themselves in a box for forty days with no McDonalds.

Im glad that a man such as Blain is showing the world it can still be done, you DONT NEEEEEED that MCMURDER(mcdonalds), and murder king to live your life, and about the indian swami; did you see him do it??? Not in this life time bud..To REAL PEOPLE;SEEING IS BELEAVING, actions..my Frinds actions do indeed speak louder than words, and fairy tales from the past, try what you see today as your learning tools of tomorrow. Better late than never..But the posts about blain are funny anyways hahaha:)

People think David Blain is crazy because they don't have the will power to do what he did. People always have to put down what they don't understand. I think it's amazing. I'm intrigued by him and wonder how his mind works. If I could only have a friend like him to talk to....

I think what he does seems amazing. I'm not sure how he does what he does, but he is damn good at it. I don't think it is Devil work....just brilliance. Keep amazing people David...and while you're at it, come to Davenport, Iowa and amaze us too. See ya.

if u use your brain for quality of statement,you have to acknowledge the super natural performance of Blaine.As far as usefulness of deeds is concerned,this is responsibility of human race to focus at the ways these powers could be developed in normal person so that they could be utilised in making life free from sufferings
