Lower Garden Area Re-vamp

Lower Garden Area revamped
Well, there's not been much going on in this area, but since we put out a new raised platform (you'll never guess where from), this whole area has come alive for us. Simon finally finished the wires for the wisteria to grow along - the neighbours thought it was to keep out their kids!!- and then we planted up a planter or two and it's all goin' on! Two gorgeous acers (one of them a new one, Little Princess), some bamboo dug out of another part of the garden, the camellia, a new trough filled with sweet peas and ipomoea to climb up onto the wires until the wisteria gets there and variegated euonymus for year round interest, and finally a little trough of deep blue pansies. Who knows what else we'll cram in. The rest of the garden is looking lush, and my favourites at the moment are the allium christophii which look amazing.

And what a fab job you have done! The suprising staging is our old bed, a black fouton base that dad and I built in 1985 and it looks great!
