Urs Meier destroys Englands hope's

Those that read this column regular will know that I'm more of a rugby fan than football but I do support England when they play big football matches and last night "we was robbed".

I was not surprised that Sol Campbell's perfectly good goal was disallowed as there had already been a string a awful refereeing judgements during the match, corners that should not have been, throw-ins awarded to the wrong side and fouls awarded to whoever looked like they suffered the most.

I can't blame Portugal for anything. They did not cheat, they did not play up, they played very good football and they got lucky.

I fully blame the ref for the result and no one else. If you feel like me then you can have your say at Urs Meiers own website where you can give you own feedback to the ref.

Like Swiss Cheese Urs Meier's decisions last night were full of holes.

Appalled of Croydon.
