Everest gets 6" higher, on average
Just spotted a brilliant story over at the beeb:
Viagra 'protects climbers' lungs'
It looks like (female?) researchers at the University of Geissen, Germany have discovered that the lack of oxygen suffered by climbers at altitude can be counteracted by Viagra.
This has lead to a few amusing comments in the office:
- Did you feel a bit stiff after that climb?
- No need to carry a flag pole any more
- It's getting harder to climb theses days
- What happens on the descent? (of the mountain)
- Instand sundial should your watch stop
Has anyone any other suggestions?
