0% cards required

I need 0% credit cards so that I can do a balance transfer and rid myself of the credit card debts that have been building up over the past few years. Shoving everything onto a 0% card for a year and then shifting the balance to the next one is a technique worth investing time in. Why pay a credit card company 15%+ of your overspend every month - you will never pay it off? So I need one 0% card at a time so that I can pay off what I owe. This requires a certain amount of discipline in paying off the balance and you must not be tempted to spend any more just because you are 'safe' for a while.

So where are all the 0% bargins? You have to look hard because there are times when there are none available and then, like buses, loads turn up as the credit card market competition hots up! This tends to go in waves depending on how the economy is feeling so its not a technique you can rely on to use over several years - though it will help! Just be carefull when the 0% credit card deal expires as you may well then be paying over the odds for your balance. Put a date in your diary a few weeks before to review the situation and look for the best deal over the next 12 months.
