Digital MOT
The UK's MOT system is now digital. All official MOT Testers now have a computerised system that hooks up to a central database. Cameras take images of your can and optical recognition grabs your numberplate details. All the test information is then kept centrally which some might complain as being very Big Brother - but I like to see this one as your big brother stopping the bullies. This system should eliminate illegal and dangerous cars from our roads making it a lot safer for us all. You will not have to take your MOT along to the post-office to get new road tax as they can punch your cars valid, or invalid, details up on screen.
