I am not a football fan at all but when I was a nipper I was and it was Emlyn Hughes amoungst others that I followed. He has died of a brain tumor following a battle with cancer. Emlyn is the second icon of my youth to go within a week, the other being the great John Peel, and it's starting to make me feel old and sad.
