At last I can spell check my entries before publish from a PC. I often write on the fly and my spelling often lets me down as I rush things. Spellbound is a Firefox extension and with one right click I can spell check anything I am writing in an input field - its almost like having a MAC (where you can already do this but in any programme!)
Jay Stuler is being sued by a company that is listed by SpamHaus on its register of known spam operators. The company are suing him because he complained about spam he was receiving from them. If Jay looses it will be open season for spammers. You can contribute a few pennies to his defence fund.
Google, amoungst others, have put forward a new specification that will stop search engines following links when a rel="nofollow" attribue is introduced into an anchor tag. Blog vendors are working with Google to get this implemented quickly.

Nice piece over at MSNBC on the British design invasion of the Detroit motor industrys hallowed ground. GM's Coventry studio chief Simon Cox has been working his magic markers to restyle the big GMC Graphyte SUV and the new Corvette. he wants to have a go at the Hummer if they will let him (about time too!).
Google have just pushed their video search capabilities out to Beta. There is not much at the moment - a search for Simon brought only 3 programmes up. And its all American and mainly news channels. I am wondering if they are getting the text transcription of each show or if they have rows of Pigeons typing on keyboards...
So we are getting referrer spam in our logs. Its just annoying. The retards that do the spamming need a serious knuckle sandwich. Meanwhile we have ways of stopping them...
