Rolling in stoned, I gather its Moss

Cocane Kate may have burnt her candle from both ends as her pay masters jump ship. Will she have enough money left to support both her and Shambling Pete's habits? He certainly isn't making any money with his new band Baby shambles.

The bets are on - which one of the celeb couple, Cocaine Kate Moss or Peter Doherty is going to die first through drug abuse?

As an ordinary Brit I have absolutely no sympathy or compassion for either of them.

Handbook for bloggers and cyber-dissidents

Blogging is great for having a rant about those things that annoy you and you have to be carefull about liable laws but in a few countries in the world you are not even allowed to voice dissenting opinions. China, for one, has already sent 62 cyberdissidents to prison for publishing articles online about things that the Chinese Government don't allow thier citizens to write/complain about.

Arash Sigarchi has published a book on how to publish things that governments rather you didn't and its available as a pdf download from the site Reporters sans frontières - Handbook for bloggers and cyber-dissidents

Reporters Without Borders has produced this handbook to help them, with handy tips and technical advice on how to to remain anonymous and to get round censorship, by choosing the most suitable method for each situation. It also explains how to set up and make the most of a blog, to publicise it (getting it picked up efficiently by search-engines) and to establish its credibility through observing basic ethical and journalistic principles.

Something for everyone then.

Have a Mint - site statisics on the fly

I have implemented Mint onto the site so that I can quickly track users in real time. This does not exclude the other methods of stats that I use, log files - on-line with Webstats and Analogue and off-line with other tools, Pphlogger which I use on-line and Ezboo which I am about to demise from a load of sites.

Mint is really good and worth the money, $30, if you have just the one site. I need to track about 20 though so Mint is not going to make the cut unless Shaun brings out a pro version that can track multiple sites.

Peter Cochrane's Blog: Travelling ultra-light

Peter Cochrane lets out the secrets of travelling with the minimum of luggage to get you through those airport queues quickly and to ensure you are not travelling with the kitchen sink. I love to travel light and I like the detail that Peter has gone into in this piece.
