Mechanical Turk - pay others to do your work

Amazon have a cracking project in Beta that if it takes off could be massive. Mechanical Turk allows web users to pay for people to complete tasks for them - such as resize this photoshop image for me for a $1. And users can log in and pick jobs to complete. Stunning. I have seen similar systems in use by IT programmers in the past, although they don't talk about it as its a way of getting work done! But Amazon trialling it adds a new dimension.
