Newspapers continue to loose credibility

The World Association of Newspapers WAN have decided that the internet is reducing its members profits and is going to take action against web pioneers such as Google for not paying its members for showing headlines -full story from Silicon.com. Alternatively Google could charge the News papers for driving traffic to their sites - traffic which increases online revenue and brand awareness. It will be interesting to see who wins out in the long run! The only way that eth newspapers can effectively fight this is by forming cartels and stopping the search engines from accessing their content.
Globally newspapers need to catch up with what’s going on this century and realise that the internet is a far more effective communication medium than newspapers ever were.
