There has been several [massive explosions](https://web.archive.org/web/20091125022433/http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/news/nation/7307120.htm "Five Explosions Rock Istanbul, Turkey") in Istanbul this morning in the most crowded districts. The British Embassy has been targeted. Looks like a terrorist attack and there is only one person that we have to thank for it - George W Bush. Countries like Turkey are a lot easier to target than the USA and are paying the price of Bush's 'freedom'.

### Update!

Several members of staff from HSBC in Turkey have been killed. We don't know the exact figures yet and security has been heavily tightened where I work in Canary Wharf.
