If you design and build websites, like what I does, one of the best reason for changing you browser to [Firefox](https://web.archive.org/web/20091126180509/http://www.mozilla.org/ "Get Firefox!") isn't the standards compatability, isn't the superb [syncronise bookmarks extension](https://web.archive.org/web/20091126180509/http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=14&vid=15&category=Bookmarks "Syncronise your bookmarks at work and home"), it is the [Web Developer extension](https://web.archive.org/web/20091126180509/http://www.chrispederick.com/work/firefox/webdeveloper/ "Web Developer Extension") developed and provided by [Chris Pederick](https://web.archive.org/web/20091126180509/http://www.chrispederick.com/ "Chris Pedericks blog"). This extension adds nearly everything you need when investigating a web page, be it WAI compliance, outlining where the divs and tables are, window resizing, javascript disabling, CSS tweeking - via an interface where you can temporarliy change the css in real time on any site, speed reports, all the regular validations.

It's brilliant and I can't live without it!

### Update!

Asa Dotzler from Mozilla mailed me syaing that they appreciated my recommendation and asked me to help spread the word a bit more by putting a button up - which I am delighted to do:
