At long last we got to see The Darkness, live at Lees Cliffe Hall Folkestone after the gig was postponed from last year. Vic Reeves turned up plus entourage.
At long long last we got to see The Darkness, live at Lees Cliffe Hall Folkstone after the gig was postponed from last year. Vic Reeves turned up plus entorage and I have never seen the hall so packed. The Darkness were brilliant, loud but clear - I felt my clothes get buffeted by the sound - awesome. In the encore Justin was carried by a roadie through the crowd while he played. I have never seen anything like it - and got some pictures as he came within about 4 foot of us - picture attached.
The support act were rappers from Newport. We stayed in the bar for that bit.
